The Resurrection of Jesus taught his closest followers that he was not where they thought he would be. Mary went to the tomb expecting to find his body. Two disciples walked down a road talking to Jesus without knowing it was him.

We often expect God to show up in a certain way and miss him altogether. Expectations can cause us to miss Him.
